Local governments must have a good maintenance program in place covering vehicles and mechanical equipment used during construction and maintenance activities. As such, local governments are responsible for maintaining all associated vehicles according to the operations described in Section III.G., and also for maintaining all equipment associated with construction and maintenance operations. In addition, these activities require extensive fuel, which is provided by the local government. These activities and their applicable regulations are also described in Section III.G.
